Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the website operated by Nilus Care Ltd ("us", "we", or "our") or booking any appointment for ear wax removal or audiology services.
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
1.1. These terms govern the provision of ear wax removal (microsuction, irrigation, or manual removal) and hearing screening services by Nilus Care.
1.2. By booking an appointment, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age or are booking on behalf of a minor for whom you have legal guardianship.
2.1. You must inform the practitioner if you have any of the following:
2.2. Nilus Care accepts no liability for injury or adverse reactions caused by your failure to disclose relevant medical information.
3.1. To ensure safe and successful wax removal, you must use medical-grade olive oil drops (e.g., Earol) for at least 3-5 days prior to your appointment, unless contraindicated by a doctor.
3.2. If you attend an appointment and the wax is too hard to remove safely because you failed to use drops, the procedure may be aborted.
3.3. In such cases, the full appointment fee remains payable to cover the clinical time allocated. A follow-up appointment may be booked at a standard rate.
Payment is due upon completion of the service unless a deposit was taken online. We accept cash and major credit/debit cards.
We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may not be able to see you as it would impact subsequent patients. This will be treated as a "No Show" and charged accordingly.
5.1. Microsuction is generally safe, but like all medical procedures, it carries minor risks. These include, but are not limited to:
5.2. By attending the appointment, you imply consent for the procedure. You may withdraw consent at any time during the procedure by asking the practitioner to stop.
6.1. To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Nilus Care shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services.
6.2. Our total liability for any claim arising out of our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific appointment.
6.3. We are not liable for any pre-existing conditions that are discovered during the examination.
7.1. We operate a zero-tolerance policy regarding abuse towards our staff. Any patient exhibiting aggressive, threatening, or abusive behavior will be refused treatment and asked to leave immediately. Police may be contacted if necessary.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
